Job Description

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to work in Easton, MD. If you have a good attitude and a willingness to learn, this could be the job for you.

Facilities Maintenance Technician responsibilities include:

Maintains and completes equipment logbooks.Completes maintenance, and assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.Collects and transports samples and equipment from off-site storage facilities. Perform grounds maintenance including, but not limited to, mowing, removal of leaves, landscape maintenance, snow and ice removal, maintenance of driveways and parking areas.Assist scientists and other laboratory employees in the general day-to-day operation of the laboratory equipment.Maintains storage (organize and inventory), ensures equipment/supplies are available and in good working order.Maintain, repair, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.Set up rooms and test units for studies.May handle regulated materials, potential biohazard materials, and toxic chemicals using proper labeling and dilution.Completes documentation legibly, timely, and accurately according to all regulatory requirements.Other duties assigned, as needed

Qualifications

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime required as needed.  Salary range is $17-18 an hour.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
