Our client, a leader in facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Detroit, MI
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform general building maintenance and repair duties.
+ Assist with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing tasks as needed.
+ Conduct interior and exterior painting, ensuring proper surface preparation.
+ Oversee third-party vendors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
+ Respond promptly to emergency situations and customer service requests.
**What's Needed?**
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
+ 4+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
+ Technical training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields.
+ Valid driver's license and good driving record.
+ Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
