Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician

Weekly Pay $26-$34/hr

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol.

ResponsibilitiesComplete work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs.Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol.Assist in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories, and logs.Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs.Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings.Communicate effectively regarding building status and changes.Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital clients, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc.Utilize materials, supplies, tools, and other building property in a safe, productive manner.Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.Maintain chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, exhaust systems.Handle electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans).Perform painting tasks.Conduct carpentry and flooring work.Handle plumbing for sinks, restrooms, and kitchens.Perform minor appliance repairs.Manage furniture maintenance and Trane Tracer controls.Essential SkillsFacilities maintenanceHVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshootingCommercial and healthcare facilities maintenance experienceExperience with maintaining a 90,000 sq. ft. building3+ years of experienceMust have relevant certificationsSchematic readingHand tool proficiencyGeneral maintenance skillsBoiler operation and troubleshootingElectrical workPlumbingRepair skillsPreventive maintenanceDrywall workCarpentryPaintingElectrical maintenanceBuilding maintenanceMaintenance repairBlueprint readingAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with building automation systemsExperience with various HVAC equipmentExperience with mechanical systemsWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
