**Job Title: Facilities Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. This role involves cleaning and maintenance of classrooms and other areas of the agency’s property, including traveling to other locations. You will be responsible for light electrical and plumbing repairs, inspecting classroom areas to ensure custodial work is properly done, responding to requests for supplies, cleanups, and garbage removal. Additionally, you will assist in moving office and institutional furniture and equipment, perform painting, drywall repairs, light fixture repairs, plumbing repairs, and various building repairs. Snow removal and salting during the winter, as well as trash removal, are also part of the duties.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean and maintain classrooms and other agency properties.
+ Perform light electrical and plumbing repairs.
+ Inspect classrooms to ensure custodial work is properly done.
+ Respond to requests for supplies, cleanups, and garbage removal.
+ Assist in moving office and institutional furniture and equipment.
+ Perform painting, drywall repairs, light fixture repairs, plumbing repairs, and building repairs.
+ Conduct snow removal and salting during winter.
+ Manage trash removal.

**Work Environment**
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm, totaling 37.5 hours a week. You must have a flexible schedule to accommodate agency needs and be available to fill in when other staff members are absent. Additionally, you must be available at least one Saturday per month and able to respond to emergency situations.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Getzville, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
