Job Description:
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team in West Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Production Maintenance - Facility Manager to oversee and monitor the Building Automation System, perform routine preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot production support equipment, including HVAC systems. Additionally, you will train Facilities Maintenance Staff and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.Responsibilities:
Perform general facilities maintenance, including repairs and alterations to buildings (carpentry, plastering, painting, etc.)Complete 60-80 facilities maintenance tasks monthlyBe on call every other week on a rotating basisMaintain HVAC and support equipment for operational efficiencyPerform corrective and preventive maintenance work ordersCommunicate effectively with internal and external customersDemonstrate leadership and trade skills in electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and plumbingSkills & Qualifications:
Required:Current licenses in Boiler Operation, Refrigeration & Recovery, and Electrical Maintenance (Class C minimum) from MinnesotaExperience with building automation systems (Currently Siemens and Allen Bradley, transitioning to only Allen Bradley)Experience with preventive maintenance platforms (Client utilizes Blue Mountain)Knowledge of electrical repairs, plumbing, carpentry, and related tradesBasic knowledge of machinery and HVAC support equipmentMastery of trades and construction skillsSafe use and maintenance of power toolsAbility to plan and execute repairs independentlyStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsPreferred:Experience in facilities maintenance, in an FDA-regulated environmentMaintaining compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturingPost-high school training in facilities maintenance and operationsWhy Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $87360.00/yr.
