Facilities Maintenance Technician
**Description** The Facilities engineer is responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs - Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol - Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs - Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs - Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings. - Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes - Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with tenants, hospital client, co-workers, vendors, patients, etc. - Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner - HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting - Chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, exhaust - Electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans) - Painting - Carpentry and flooring - Plumbing for sinks, restrooms, kitchens - Minor appliance repair - Furniture repair - Allen Bradley and Trane Tracer controls **Skills** Facilities maintenance, Hvac, Schematic, Hand tool, General maintenance, Boiler, troubleshooting, electrical, plumbing, repair, preventive maintenance, drywall, carpentry, facilities, painting, electrical maintenance, facility maintenance, building maintenance, maintenance repair, blueprint **Top Skills Details** Facilities maintenance,Hvac **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - HVAC preventative maintenance and troubleshooting - Chillers, boilers, rooftop units, air handlers, bag houses, belts, filters, exhaust - Electrical wiring and installation (outlets, furniture, fans) - Painting - Carpentry and flooring - Plumbing for sinks, restrooms, kitchens - Minor appliance repair - Furniture repair - Allen Bradley and Trane Tracer controls At their current job, what types of equipment do they troubleshoot or work on?
