The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services :
RTX Enterprise Real Estate Services has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician at our Raytheon Fort Wayne, IN location. The facility is comprised of three buildings totaling 330,000 square feet – of which Raytheon leases 191,123 square feet. It consists of traditional office space, engineering laboratories, and engineering fabrication facilities.
**What You Will do:**
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
+ Troubleshoot and repair building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and furniture.
+ Perform proactive building assessments to identify issues and implement solutions.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
+ Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure seamless operations.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
+ Order and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
+ Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
+ Provide technical support and training to other team members as needed.
+ lifting and carrying heavy objects, up to 28 pounds.
+ Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
+ Working in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
**Qualifications You Must Have:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent or vocational/technical education in a related discipline in maintenance or related trade
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in the aerospace or defense industry.
+ At least 4 years’ experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and systems furniture.
+ U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
**Qualifications We Prefer:**
+ Technical or vocational training in a related trade such as: Licensed electrician, carpenter, plumber, HVAC technician preferred.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently as part of a team and the flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
