Facilities Maintenance With HVAC/R
**Facilities Maintenance Technician with HVAC/R** **Job Description** Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support to the commercial property utilizing the computerized maintenance management system. Identify and correct problems such as mechanical systems (pumps, belt drivers, gear reduction drives, piping, valve diagnosis and replacement), plumbing systems (installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal), electrical systems (install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, fixtures, components, and systems), and control systems (sensors, limit switches, solenoids, motors). Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of facility equipment, components, utilities, and the like. **Responsibilities** + Provide routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support. + Utilize the computerized maintenance management system. + Identify and correct problems in mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and control systems. + Provide technical support and general guidance to facility staff. + Perform troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. + Will be working in kitchen appliances and walk-in coolers **Essential Skills** + Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance. + Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. + Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams. + Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills. + Ability to work some weekends and overtime + Must be able to work with Refrigriation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with HVAC systems, ceiling tiles, lighting, ballast, boilers, chillers, roof top units, minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, repair, preventive maintenance, carpentry, and hand tools. **Why Work Here?** We offer good benefits once hired on permanently, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment. **Work Environment** You will be working at a commercial property with a team of 11 others, including the Chief Building Engineer.
