Facilities Maintence Tech
We are looking for a skilled **Facility Technician** to maintain and repair equipment across our facility. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and ensuring the operational efficiency of plant machinery, as well as performing general facility maintenance. If you have a background in equipment maintenance and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you! **Key Responsibilities:** + Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including metalworking and assembly machines, welding, brazing, and other mechanical processes. + Perform preventive maintenance and gage calibration to ensure smooth operations. + Maintain facility systems such as heating, cooling, and sprinklers. + Order, stock, and manage spare parts for equipment and the facility. + Operate forklifts, clean machines, perform basic plumbing, and assist with snow removal. + Conduct facility inspections and report discrepancies to the supervisor. + Contribute to improvements in safety, cost-efficiency, quality, and operational performance. + Handle hazardous waste management and follow safety protocols for chemical releases. **Qualifications:** + High School diploma required; trade school or technical courses preferred. + 3+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment. + Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, plumbing, and basic electrical work. + Experience with electrical wiring, PLCs, and CNC machinery is a plus. + Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
