We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Facilities Manager to join a leading Company located in the High Gate Springs, VT surrounding area.
We are seeking a facilities manager based out of High Gate Springs, VT overseeing 5 facilities in the local surrounding area. Vehicles are provided to travel amongst the sites. Requirements are listed below.
Responsibilities:Manage the operations and maintenance (O&M) of facilitiesManage skilled trades, and supporting staff, ensuring the same quality of service across all facilitiesMonitor, train, evaluate, and guide facilities personnelOversee the operation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, and be knowledgeable in the maintenance and repair of the mechanical systemsKnowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenanceOversee the development of and implementation of preventive maintenance (PM) plans and recommend predictive projectsNegotiates O&M contracts and manages relationships with vendors who service the buildings being managedQualify new vendorsShall have the authority to purchase and manage all related maintenance supplies and repair parts for all equipment in the facilitiesInspect buildings, and equipment, noting and reporting the need for repair and replacementsEnsure proper use of the CMMS under this contractRegularly meets with customers to provide contract requirements updates and receive further directionsProvide reports to customers as requiredOther duties as assigned
Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years of recent (within the past 7 years) experience in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for large buildings of the approximate size and characteristics of the buildings to be covered by this contractMinimum 10 years of hands-on facilities maintenance experience with an emphasis on commercial HVAC maintenanceMust obtain the NATE certification
Desired Qualifications:Must be knowledgeable in basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systemsMust have an excellent record of customer satisfaction
