What is the role that you have been searching for?
Facilities Manager-Multi-Site:
The facilities manager oversees and maintains all of CarShops multiple locations, ensuring they are safe and functional. They are responsible for negotiating contracts with service providers, inspecting facilities to meet safety regulations, and coordinating construction and renovation projects with the GM's of the varied locations. This position reports directly to our President of CarShop US.

What will you do?
Coordinate all levels of maintenance required to maintain CarShop facilities in safe, professional conditions Collaborate with management on budgeting for facility needs Inspect buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations. Schedule service with outside vendors as necessary Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors Ensure proper building and grounds security measures are taken Control facility needs such as parking, space allocation, waste disposal, and preparation for changing weather conditions Handle insurance plans and service contractsWhat skills do you bring to the role?
Advanced mechanical skills and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems Must be willing and able to travel the varying locations within CarShop US all of which can be done by vehicle Preferably 3-5 years of Facilities experience managing more than one location Proficiency with repair tools and techniques with excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills Quick study, analytical thinker, ability to reprioritize and switch gears Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills Team player able to work with minimal supervision
