Your role will involve managing a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating repair and preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: + Supervise and coordinate daily facilities maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep. + Perform regular inspections of HVAC systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly, and recommend repairs or replacements as necessary. + Manage and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all building systems and equipment. + Troubleshoot HVAC systems, address issues, and coordinate repairs when needed. + Oversee vendor and contractor activities related to facilities and HVAC services. + Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and codes, particularly those related to HVAC and building safety. + Prepare and manage facilities maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions. + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. + Handle emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. + Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of maintenance professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Qualifications: + Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role with a strong focus on HVAC systems. + In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical systems, plumbing, and electrical systems of facilities between 10,000 - 200,000 sq. ft.. + Certification or licensure in HVAC (e.g., EPA Section 608, NATE certification) preferred. + Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to address complex facility-related issues quickly and effectively. + Experience managing teams and overseeing contractors/vendors. + Solid understanding of building codes, safety standards, and regulations related to facilities management. + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
