Description
We are in search of a REMOTE FACILITIES MANAGER to join our team BASED in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will be tasked with the management and oversight of commercial properties' operations. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects such as electrical, plumbing, landscaping, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the overall operation of a moderate scope portfolio of properties, ensuring all aspects are functioning efficiently.
• Implement procedures and solutions aimed at maintaining and enhancing the value of the assigned property portfolio.
• Conduct routine physical inspections of properties, maintaining open and effective communication with tenants.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, along with associated financial and operating reports.
• Negotiate and prepare service contracts, oversee and direct the work of vendors, contractors, and third parties.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills in leading and executing facility-related projects.
• Ensure tenant lease compliance across all properties.
• Process billing and payments within established standards.
• Stay updated on local, state, and federal regulations to ensure facilities adhere to building codes, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Provide outstanding customer service, effectively presenting information to property owners and responding to sensitive issues.
Requirements
• Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles
• Proven skills in Facilities Management and Facilities Planning
• Demonstrable knowledge of Electrical systems
• Experience in Lawn Care and Janitorial Services
• Proficiency in Landscape Maintenance and Parking Lots management
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Experience in preparing Billing Statements and processing Payments
• Proficiency in Commercial Property Management
• Thorough understanding of Building Codes
• Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to efficiently multitask
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within team settings
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite- intermediate Excel skills
• Prefer a bachelor's degree
