What this job involves
The Facilities Manager has a good understanding of the maintenance department, operating systems of the property, construction practices, preventive maintenance and safety practices. Along with enhancing the property value by managing the maintenance department at the property.

Responsibilities
Provides direction and support to third party maintenance technicians within the facility or portfolio (including performance management, coaching, and development)Communicates regularly with site team and attends scheduled staff meetings, team walks and calls with client.Act as an interface with client and assist the team with tactical planning for the goals and objectives.Provide direction/information to vendors, facilities staff and service providers as required ensuring excellent coordination/execution of work within client environment with minimal disruption, as needed.Implements and schedules preventative maintenance standards that are in compliance with JLL and Client guidelines via online work order system (PRISM).Manages and schedules all projects and reviews for accuracy and quality of work performed by technicians and vendors.Evaluates vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with Strategic Sourcing with regard to quality and competitive pricing.Assist support facility specific cost savings targets to contribute to the account achieving significant savings.Coordinates the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of HVAC, water, electric, and other systems to ensure efficient operation with the Client System Owner (smart irrigation controls, cistern, reclaimed water program). Roll utility information into Measurable platform.Maintains a critical parts inventory and monitors it throughout the year.Assist with researching, analyzing and reporting budget variances. Work with team members to identify and respond to any financial or budgeting related issues.Oversee tenant opening process from pre-construction to buildout phase, and closeout.Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.Sound like you? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in preferred2+ years of supervisory experience5+ years industry experience required in a corporate environment or as a third-party service provider.MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems knowledge required.Ability to project manage capital expenditures and other projects.Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.Strong customer service skills are required.Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Familiar with computer equipment and programs.Good organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusProficient in MS Office, and possess strong written, verbal and people skills.Demonstrated intermediate to advanced written communication skills (spelling, grammar and punctuation) and verbal communications skills.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Prioritize and manage the completion of projects in an efficient and timely manner.Ability to respond quickly to emergency property needs at any time of day or night.Able to work in accordance with the retail property schedule during the holiday season and throughout the year.Estimated total compensation for this position:
120,000.00 – 132,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
