Hiring a Facilities Mechanic in Marina Del Rey Job Description

The primary role of a Facilities Coordinator is to provide support for monitoring the performance of and coordinating a small team of multi-skilled operatives. This role involves developing close working relationships with key client stakeholders, partners, landlords, managing agents, and all facilities vendors. The individual in this role ensures that all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

Job description and technical requirements:

·      System Maintenance: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on essential facility systems, including HVAC, water-for-injection (WFI) systems, boilers, compressed air systems, and other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

·      Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance activities to ensure reliable operation of HVAC, WFI, boiler, and compressed air systems, maintaining compliance with cGMP and other regulatory standards.

·      Compliance: Adhere to all cGMP, OSHA, and company-specific regulations, meticulously documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.

·      Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent support for production and lab processes.

·      Calibration & Monitoring: Regularly calibrate, monitor, and adjust facility systems to meet quality and operational standards, including environmental monitoring for temperature, humidity, and

pressure levels.

·      Water-for-Injection (WFI) System Maintenance: Oversee the operation and maintenance of WFI systems to ensure the availability of high-purity water necessary for production and laboratory processes.

·      Boiler and Steam Systems: Manage and maintain boiler and steam systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

·      Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, ideally in a cGMP or regulated environment with

hands-on experience in maintaining HVAC, WFI systems, boilers, and compressed

air systems.

·      Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including the operation of BAS

(Building Automation Systems) and EMS (Environmental Monitoring Systems).


Pay: Up to $35/hr

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00
