City of Hope is seeking an experienced Facilities Mechanic (General Maintenance) with background in healthcare, commercial, and/or industrial settings. As a successful candidate, you will:
Install and repair equipment according to applicable building and safety codes.Provide assistance to other Engineering shops as necessary to complete work projects on schedule.Provide services normally performed by these Engineering Trades: A/C, Autoclave, Carpentry, Electrical, Locksmith, Painting, Plumbing, Preventive Maintenance.Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
High School Diploma required. 4 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education (College or Trade school preferred).3 or more years applicable crafts experience. Current CA driver's license and a good driving record. Certification or demonstrated proficiency in 2 or more trades. At least one trade must include HVAC, electrical, autoclave, plumbing, locksmith, advanced carpentry, advanced painting. Other eligible trades include carpentry, painting.
