Facilities Mechanical Engineer
Job Title: Facilities Mechanical Engineer Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical HVAC Systems Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing HVAC systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities: + Design, develop, and optimize HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. + Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD software. + Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and equipment selection to ensure efficient HVAC system performance. + Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate HVAC designs into overall project plans. + Perform site visits and inspections to assess existing HVAC systems and provide recommendations for improvements. + Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED). + Provide technical support and guidance to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. + Stay updated with the latest advancements in HVAC technology and engineering practices. + Prepare cost estimates and project schedules for HVAC design projects. + Participate in project meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and progress. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. + Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system design and engineering. + Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design tools. + Strong understanding of HVAC principles, systems, and equipment. + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. + Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. + Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
