POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing facilities projects and key initiatives that support Company and Franchise Restaurants. POSITION ACCOUNTABILITLES: Act as a liaison with vendors, operations teams and cross-function teams.Define scope of work for facilities projects and key initiatives.Serves as an escalation point for operations teams as it relates to facilities projects and key initiatives.Oversee all aspects of building and property maintenance across one or more restaurant locations.Schedule, coordinate, and supervise repairs and large projects (e.g., HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.).Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues to minimize operational downtime.Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with third-party vendors and contractors for facilities projects.Monitor vendor performance and ensure services are completed on time and within budget.Support compliance with fire safety, sanitation, and environmental regulations.Manage vendor relationships and vendor communication.Provide detailed status reports on all projects and key initiatives.Partner with VP, Company Restaurants to determine needs for large scale projects as it relates to restaurant facilities.Performs other duties as assigned
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS
Knowledge
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and commercial kitchen equipment.Strong understanding of safety and compliance regulations (OSHA, fire codes, health inspections).Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.Strong negotiation, budgeting, and project management skills.Excellent planning skills.Ability to think independently, take corrective action and resolve issues.Excellent people skills.Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Over five years of related experience. Experience in QSR industry, restaurant equipment or project management.Essential Physical RequirementsAbility to read, analyze and interpret written information.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.Ability to travel as needed to visit restaurants or attend off-site meetings.Ability to travel 50% of the time.
