The **Facilities Planner** is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities for utility facilities to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. This position involves developing maintenance strategies, managing work orders, and optimizing the use of resources.

Maintenance Planning and Scheduling
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for utility facilities.
+ Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency and importance.
+ Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely execution of maintenance.
Work Order Management
+ Create, review, and manage work orders for maintenance tasks.
+ Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all maintenance activities.
+ Monitor and report on the status of work orders and maintenance projects.
Resource Coordination
+ Coordinate the allocation of personnel, equipment, and materials for maintenance.
+ Ensure the necessary tools and parts are available for scheduled maintenance activities.
+ Optimize resource utilization to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
+ Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
+ Analyse equipment performance data to identify potential issues and plan corrective actions.
+ Ensure regular inspections and maintenance of critical utility infrastructure.
Compliance and Safety
+ Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
+ Conduct Safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
+ Maintain up-to-date records of safety certifications and training for maintenance personnel.
Reporting Documentation and Continuous Improvement
+ Prepare and maintain detailed reports on maintenance activities, cost, and performance metrics.
+ Develop and maintain maintenance manuals, procedures, and documentation.
+ Provide regular updates to management.
+ Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and practices.

**Basic Qualifications:**
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
+ 3+ years in maintenance planning and scheduling
**Preferred Qualifications:**
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
+ Experience with maintenance planning and scheduling in the utilities sector
+ Strong leadership skills, proven experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
+ Strong organizational and planning skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft suite
+ Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
+ Strong understanding of maintenance best practices and safety regulations.

**_The salary range for this role is: $81,471 to $112,022 annually_**
