Position Summary:
Report to the Director of Facilities Planning. Inventory, catalog, and organize electronic and hard copy drawings. Maintain a log for sign out and accountability of all drawings. Provide periodic update of file management and file inventory. Assist UNM Hospitals Facilities Planners with work related tasks as requested. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed responsibilities:
* INVENTORY - Inventory and organize drawings in file room
* INVENTORY - Log each project with project date, name of project, size of drawings and type of medium
* CATALOG - Create scanned drawings as PDF files; organize PDF files with bookmarks and other recognizable identification
* CATALOG - Set up an organized drawing file system of existing hard copy drawings in file room using a standard map letter/number system
* CATALOG - Maintain electronic documentation of scanned drawing information and hard copy file location and other pertinent information
* FILE - Ensure all electronic and hard copy files are maintained in a manner acceptable to the department management; Maintain a sign out log
* OTHER - Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
* ASSIST - Prepare surveys of existing UNM Hospitals facilities and other similar work to assist with Planning and Construction Projects

Physical Conditions:
