FACILITIES PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Summary You will serve as the Deputy Assistant Regional Engineer (DARE), supervising the program management of Regional management of Utilities, Energy, Facilities Planning, Facilities Support Contracts, Sustainment Restoration and Maintenance, Real Estate and Space Management, and community partnering. Responsibilities You will manage community plans and liaison program, enable partnerships with state and local governments, and installation facilities space and real estate programs. You will implement energy security policies, plans and projects to provide reliable and efficient shore energy sources. You will lead and coordinate facilities and utilities sustainment and capital improvement programs You will provide in-depth technical expertise in infrastructure related financial and resource management matters and ensures continuity in budgeting and financial resource management. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1. Developing long-term plans for facilities and infrastructure aligned with Navy goals, effectively considering resource needs and future challenges. 2. Managing budgets, overseeing expenditures, and ensuring financial practices support strategic priorities and operational effectiveness. 3. Overseeing space planning and land use to optimize facility use, support mission readiness, and prevent encroachment. 4. Building and sustaining effective partnerships with military, government, and regulatory bodies to support key initiatives. 5. Presenting complex plans and priorities to senior leadership, fostering alignment and support for command objectives. 6. Applying qualitative and quantitative methods to assess challenges, prioritize resources, and guide team efforts in meeting mission goals.
