We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Project Coordinator to work at our Cheltenham facility, a 55 acre site with approx 1600 employees.

In this role you would coordinate technical aspects of refurbishment and construction projects across thirteen buildings on site, to deliver tactical project elements. The Project Coordinator will assist the Program Leader with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information. In this role you will be coordinating day to day operations and resources, acting as a key link between the Program Leader and contractors on site, to deliver infrastructure projects safely, to a high standard of quality, delivered on time and within budget assigned.

Essential Responsibilities

Coordination of day-to-day project activities and technical deliverablesDevelop project scoping document through technical assessment with stakeholdersProvide input to project budget, escalating any variations to project scopeEnsure the accuracy of data input and general project administration, O&M documentation and paperwork are delivered at the end of each projectCoordinate site operations and resources to meet project demandsAdhere to GE Aerospace EHS guidelines on compliance and safety on all projects ensuring all stakeholders are aware of expectationsUnderstand and interpret RAMS

Requirements

Previous experience in a strategic facilities environment or related roleEffective decision making and problem solving skillsUnderstanding and application of CDM regulations 2015Understanding of UK building regulationsTechnical site expertise or similar experience within an engineering, manufacturing or construction environmentUnderstanding of building services, infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structured cabling, fire safety and security systemsA good communicator who can work with stakeholders to develop project brief documents that will support the overall project document pack throughoutAbility to read, interpret and develop technical information and drawingsAbility to co-ordinate several projects simultaneouslyEffective written and verbal communication and relationship building skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Project, and AutoCAD
