What this job involves

Lead strategic and cross-functional facilities projects and end to end project delivery to include alignment of concepts in terms of scope, time, and cost deliverable development to ensure project goals are met.  Work with the site team to manage the scope, and construction of the project utilizing your knowledge, experience, and expertise as an established project manager.

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects on-time/on budgetPartners closely with Regional Facility Manager, Director of Engineering, and site teams to optimize process, procedure and project deliveryDevelops ROM level project estimates for funding approval .Prepares agendas, develops and maintains master project schedules and budgets for each project and project phaseEnsure the project plan, scope, work structure, schedule, and budget are maintained by all the involved parties (e.g. consultants, engineers, architects, vendors, stakeholders, etc.)Selects and manages resources including subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and partners through bidding and vendor selection processRegularly monitor the progress of all projects by completing site visits, tracking procurement activities and reviewing contractor performanceConducts project meetings (including taking and sharing minutes), tracks deliverables assigned in meetings, coordinates project updates/reports and drawing reviews at conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases of projectReviews and approves requisitions, change orders and invoices associated with the projectOversees document preparation and completion (e.g. contracts, close-outs, punch lists, etc.)Plays a critical leadership, coordination, and communication role with all stakeholdersAdheres to Client and JLL policies and procedures, obtains necessary approvals, understands local, state, and other AHJ approvals and final acceptanceHave a solid understanding of industry benchmarkingContinually seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationshipsRecommends and assists with internal program and process improvementsCreate and evaluate project reporting; provide timely and accurate project status reporting to internal and external partiesAssists with strategic internal program and process improvementsManage day-to-day Client experience and expectationsProvides input for account reporting and KPI tracking as neededHave a working technical knowledge to manage LED lighting retrofits, HVAC, BMS, water fixture and meter retrofits, and other MEP projects ranging from $25K - $250KUnderstand the system architecture of HVAC and Renewable Systems in order to identify project requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline or combination of relevant education, training or experience deemed equivalent 5+ years of project or construction management experience3+ years experience with managing technical infrastructure with respect to MEPSF systems preferredCertification in PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA considered an assetPMP certification or ability to pursueSolid understanding of the construction industry, terminology, codes, documentation, and design disciplinesStrong proficiency with computer applications including Google SuiteProficiency with project management tools such as Blue beam and ProcoreWilling/able to travel as needed with a good driving recordMust live within 40 miles of Nashville, TNOn-site client-facing position, which requires the ability to work from the office or site locationStrong organization with proven leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform duties under deadline pressure in a fast-paced, high volume environmentDetail oriented and thoroughProven record of providing excellent internal and external customer serviceExcellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
