The Facilities Project Manager for Lumigen is responsible for ensuring that facility projects are executed and completed within budget in a timely manner

This position is part of the Facilities department located in Southfield, Michigan and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Use Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and concepts to maximize efficiency and coordinate the completion of facility projects by third-party contractors.  These facility projects are critical to the continued ability of Lumigen to provide products and R&D activities to our customers in a timely mannerWork independently, in consultation with selected contractors, to identify and prioritize projects required to maintain critical building systemsEnsure that facility projects are executed and completed in a timely manner and within budget.Work with site HSE personnel to ensure that the building operates in compliance with HSE requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

Bachelor's degree with preference for 9 plus years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree with preference for 7 years of the same, or a Doctoral degree with preference for 4 years' experience. 3 years of related work experience in facility management or construction project management is preferred.Strong organizational and self-motivation skills with the ability to influence others without direct authority.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environmentExperience with work productivity software (MS Office)
