The Facilities Project Manager is responsible for managing projects related to branch facilities such as new branch operations, in-store remodels, facility maintenance, and branch closures. This includes determining scope of work, obtaining any necessary bids, assigning and monitoring project tasks, and ensuring projects are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
· Reviews incoming requests and accompanying pictures or documentation; determines scope of work and assigns tasks based on established project outlines; obtains bids and selects vendors for any outsourced tasks.
· Performs project support tasks as needed; updates related workbooks, master lists, databases, and portal webpages.
· Maintains regular communication with all parties engaged in the project; monitors, documents, and communicates project status, progress and updates; facilitates issue resolution.
· Confirms completion of work and handles project closing tasks.
· Cross trains to be able to assist with all types of facility service projects.
Competencies Required:
· Solid technology, phone, and internet skills, including intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
· Ability to develop and maintain a broad understanding of the Bank’s branch operations as related to facility services and maintenance.
· Ability to exercise sound judgment and independent discretion in setting priorities, communicating with others, and handling confidential or sensitive information.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective business relationships with internal and external parties.
· Developed problem solving, negotiation and follow-up skills.
· Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
· Excellent process and project management skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage workload in a high-pressure environment and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively identify and develop solutions for business needs.
· Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call hours as dictated by business needs.
