Facilities Project Manager

System One is currently seeking a  Facilities Project Manager on a 13 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL. 

Facilities Project Manager Responsibilities:  Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of facility-related projects. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure efficient utilization of resources, adherence to timelines, and successful project outcomes. Develop project plans, including scope, budget, and timelines. Identify project goals and deliverables.  Allocate resources (personnel, materials, equipment) effectively to meet project requirements. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and suppliers. Evaluate bids and negotiate contracts. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress and address issues promptly.  Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. Conduct inspections and address deficiencies. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any changes.
Facilities Project Manager Requirements:  5 - 10 years experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Prior experience in project management, preferably in facilities or construction. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project). Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Duration: 13 months 
Location: Birmingham, AL 
Pay Rate: $45/hr
