We are seeking a Facilities Project Manager with a proven track record of driving a portfolio of assigned projects to completion ahead of schedule and under budget. As a Facilities Project Manager you will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of capital infrastructure projects supporting critical building operations and manufacturing processes. The Facilities Project Manager hires and coordinates with construction contractors to carry out a variety of projects related to new construction, renovations, specialty equipment installation, and facility infrastructure improvements. The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the management of capital projects from initial planning and estimating, to punch-list and final close out. Develop and manage the scope, budget, design and schedule of multiple plant rearrangement and production equipment installation projects, from cradle to grave. Responsibilities include project planning, design, bidding work to general contractors, building/executing and closing out the project. Projects can range from $5,000 to over $10 million. 2. Design efforts include developing project requirements and overseeing preparation of engineering plans and specifications. Project managers collect data, review design specifications, obtain management acceptance, and oversee development of a completely engineered design package for contractor bidding. 3. Design aspects are completed in collaboration with other staff engineers, contract consultants, and other internal stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for evaluating, selecting, and coordinating activities of external consultants, contractors, and in-house specialties to develop and implement corporate facilities projects and program requirements. 4. Manage financial budgets and track costs as they are incurred throughout the project lifecycle. Provide accurate and timely cost and schedule tracking to all project stakeholders. Prepare spending forecasts, establish budgets, approve invoices, and manage change orders. Prepare and maintain a project schedule 5. Oversee execution of construction projects to ensure plans and specifications are implemented correctly. 6. On occasion, conduct major facility studies covering such recurring subjects as five (5) year plans, total energy generation, facility containment/contingency programs, building management systems, major material and vendor studies, etc. 7. Assure Company compliance with all federal, state and applicable local codes such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), etc. 8. Provide an interface with external suppliers and contractors in order to assure acceptable, cost-effective and schedule minded construction programs. 9. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with remote work up to 50% of the time. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
