As a Walt Disney Imagineering’s Facilities and Operations Division representative, this position will provide oversight and technical leadership from conceptual design through construction on multiple projects. The Facilities Project Manager will report to the Manager – Facilities & Operations. This is a 2-1/2 year-long Project Hire/Temporary Assignment position with no guarantee of permanent placement. **What You Will Do** The Facilities Project Manager handles all logistical support from an operational standpoint for global locations including space planning, design and moves, construction, phones, and security to support facilities planning and projects. This role will also be responsible for the following: + Primary representative of the WDI Facilities and Operations Division on the project team + Planning and supervising facility construction teams during tenant improvement upgrade projects + Provide appropriate cost and schedule tracking and reporting + Directs activities of in-house staff and works closely with design and delivery in the preparation of construction contract documents + Responsible for managing design budgets and contract administration + Provides facilities project oversight and technical leadership from conceptual design through construction of several medium size facilities projects. + Perform warehouse sizing analysis for project Owner Furnished Items (OFI) equipment + Primary problem solver and handles conflict resolution on assigned projects + Performs technology upgrades to the existing facilities in the space portfolio + Provides technical and administrative direction to maintain project costs within budget + Run mock-up space sizing analysis, coordination and allocation within WDI buildings, on -going basis + Review building and projects using AutoCAD. + Involved in space management, coordinate office move support, and other related operations associated. + May coordinate the maintenance of vehicles and other owned equipment. + May coordinate the lease of vehicles or specialty items, such as dumpsters. + May be involved in troubleshooting conference equipment. + May be involved in supporting warehouse operations. + May be involved in coordinating mail operations. **Required Qualifications & Skills** + 5 plus years’ experience in design, building management, and/or project management + Ability to develop project scope and provide extreme ownership of entire project from scope development, to delivery to client, as well as post-turnover support + Valid California State Driver’s License + Proven experience in using Microsoft Suite + Demonstrated ability to work within Project/Construction Management and Change Management + Understands how to think strategically and tactically about issues and problem-solve to resolution + Handle diverse projects simultaneously + Ability to provide direction, manage relationships, and adapt to change while working in a team environment + Understand and anticipate the needs of clients and partners + Be a great partner between owner and operator + Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail + Experience with AutoCAD **Education** Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, interior Design or related disciplines **Additional Information** Disney offers a rewards package to help you live your best life.
