THE ROLE:
This job listing for Facilities at the BankNH Pavilion offers a chance to make a meaningful environmental impact within the entertainment industry. In this seasonal role, you’ll play a key part in keeping the venue in pristine condition, ready to welcome concert patrons show after show. This position works under the guidance of the Facilities manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on all aspects/areas of the venue
Keep venue clean and free of food, trash and other obstacles throughout shift
Be knowledgeable of the entire venue campus
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
Respond to calls from staff for spills, bodily fluids, or other maintenance items
Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles
Follow housekeeping standards per policy
Ensure that trash cans are clean, free of odor and lined
Turn all lost and found items over to Box Office immediately
Refills toilet paper, paper towel, sanitary napkin and soap dispensers
Cleans and polishes hardware such as doors, woodwork, door handles, push plates, kick plates, metal handrails, cigarette urns and drinking fountains
Vacuums and spot clean rugs
Replaces burned out light bulbs or report same to supervisor
Maintains service rooms and storage areas in a clean orderly manner
Maintains adequate supply of cleaning equipment, materials and supplies
Uses cleaning tools such as mops, brooms, squeegees, cleaning cloths, sponges, pails, brushes, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Removes wastepaper baskets and containers, and empties same into trash containers and cleans area after trash has been picked up
Reports all repairs required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor
Observes safety standards and practices
Performs related duties as required or assigned within job classification
Responsible for entering availability 3 weeks in advance through the ABIMM system. Employee is further responsible for communicating with the supervisor should that availability change.
Ensuring that time worked is accurately captured through the ABIMM system.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must have evening availability, weekends and holidays are also needed
Positions are also available for those with daytime availability
Detail-oriented and team player with a positive “can-do” attitude
Exceptional communication skills
Sense of Urgency
Time Management Skills
Knowledge of basic sanitation standards
Critical thinking and decision making
Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
Seasonal, Part-Time: April to October
Variable Hours: based on show schedule and venue needs

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
Work environment is fast-paced
Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and working on your feet
Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
