Position Summary

Building Maintenance Worker performs a variety of daily tasks to maintain, and repair necessary maintenance requests, including the upkeep of offices, building, and grounds. Able to work in various situations and respond flexibly to changing circumstances, priorities, and time constraints.

ResponsibilitiesFocus on maintenance and safety of buildingCollaborates well with maintenance teamRestocking, repairing, or replacing any request from the departmentsMaintaining the record storage area and warehouseDaily shredding of documents as neededMaintain plumbing repairs within the buildingReplace lighting fixtures or light bulbsMove office furniture or set-up table, chairs for business meetings, company events or department needsSeasonal mowing and snow removalBuilding maintenance inside and outsideAssist with Xerox copier maintenance usage and delivering cases of paperLight maintenance on the HVAC units, changing filters, belts, and route cleaningRoof and gutter maintenanceAble to collaborate well with people and adjust to daily needs and changes

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredValid driver’s licenseUp to 1 year of working experience in office building maintenanceHandles the physical demands of the job which include standing, bending, pulling, and pushingMust be able to climb ladders, not afraid of heightsMust be able to lift at least 50 poundsExcellent communication skills, speak clearly with various levels of management

Preferred: Building maintenance background or trade

• Works on assignments that are routine in nature or follows standard procedures.
• Works closely with Manager and other specialization teammates
• Directly impacts daily success of specialization
• Learns and develops skills that grow and advance career
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School degree, driver license, able to climb ladders and lift 50 lbs
