The Facilities Services Lead will primarily take care of customer work requests, oversee Soft Services Operations and assist the Hard Services Manager with vendor management and quality.

Schedule is Monday- Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities:

Perform the repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various components of the physical structure of the buildings:Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, closers, doors, furniture and controllers.Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, and piping.Prepare, prime and paint building interior and exterior surfaces and perform general handyman task to maintain buildings.Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requestedPrepare reports, maintain inventories, and keep accurate records, order equipment and supplies.Verify the accuracy of deliveries for count, pricing, and description where parts are requested for maintenance activities.Complete building and exterior walkthroughs, generating work orders for noted deficiencies.Monitor the quality of maintenance work performed by outside contractors.Complete Safety Assessments as necessary.Maintain and complete documentation for building systems and work orders.Performs and/or completes all customer service requests accurately and expediently.Performs all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards and practices.Must be comfortable and flexible enough to work with a wide-ranging and changing scope of responsibilities while adhering to standard operating procedures.Comply with all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an applicable technical training program is desirable.4+ years of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, andpainting.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.Superior customer service skills and orientation.Ability to plan and manage work orders under time constraints.Must have ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.Must have the ability to safely perform overhead work while standing on ladders.Must have the ability to regularly walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, lift, push, pull, etc. in order to complete job tasks.
