**Job Title: Facilities Site Manager, Data Center Operations**
**Job Description**
As a Facilities Data Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of our data center facilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of our data center infrastructure.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and manage data center operations, including power, cooling, and network systems.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all data center equipment.
+ Coordinate with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
+ Manage vendor relationships and contracts for equipment and services.
+ Analyze data center performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
+ Supervise and mentor facilities team members.
+ Participate in capacity planning and budgeting processes for data center operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5 years of experience in data center operations and management.
+ In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
+ Experience working in a Hyperscale Data Center.
+ Facilities maintenance experience.
+ Management skills, including overseeing over 50 employees and managing 5-6 direct reports.
+ Knowledge of Work Order Management Systems, with a preference for Corrigo knowledge.
+ Strong understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives in data centers.
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
+ Proven leadership and team management experience.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Professional certifications such as CDCP, DCPRO, or CDCS.
+ Experience with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) tools.
+ Knowledge of cloud computing and hybrid infrastructure environments.
+ Six Sigma or ITIL certification.
+ Experience with project management methodologies.
+ Familiarity with IoT smart building technologies, and BMS systems.

You will be working in a Hyperscale Data Center, where you will encounter advanced technologies and systems. The environment is fast-paced, requiring quick decision-making and adaptability. Proper dress code and adherence to safety protocols are essential.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Abilene, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $170000.00/hr.
