**Job Title: Facilities Site Manager, Data Center Operations**
**Job Description**
As a Facilities Data Center Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of our data center facilities. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and security of our data center infrastructure.
**Responsibilities**
+ Monitor and manage data center operations including power, cooling, and network systems.
+ Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all data center equipment.
+ Coordinate with IT teams to plan and execute infrastructure upgrades and expansions.
+ Work with building engineers to ensure all preventive maintenance is being performed.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
+ Manage vendor relationships and contracts for equipment and services.
+ Analyze data center performance metrics and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
+ Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
+ Supervise and mentor facilities team members.
+ Participate in capacity planning and budgeting processes for data center operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience working in a hyper-scale data center.
+ Facilities maintenance and management skills.
+ Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other facility operations.
+ Ability to oversee over 50 employees and manage 5-6 direct reports.
+ 5 years of experience in data center operations and management.
+ Knowledge of data center infrastructure including power distribution, cooling systems, and network architecture.
+ Knowledge of Work Order Management Systems.
+ Strong understanding of energy efficiency practices and sustainability initiatives in data centers.
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
+ Proven leadership and team management experience.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ In-depth knowledge of HVAC, chillers, boilers, electrical, and plumbing systems.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a hyper-scale data center as a Facility Manager, managing a facility with 50 employees and 6 direct reports. The role involves working in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, requiring strong leadership and management skills.
**Job Type & Location**
Will require relocation and willing to pay relocation to Abilene, Texas. The position is a contract to hire, but the client is open to Direct hire.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
