Position SummaryAre you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for creating efficient workspaces? Bridgestone America's is hiring a Facilities Space Planner located at our Nashville, TN Headquarters. The position will be onsite 4-5 days per week.
The position is responsible for ensuring an optimal working environment through daily space planning, managing workplace occupancy, and overseeing related projects.
ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic interpretation of data, analysis, scenarios, and reporting of headcount and space planning data to provide recommendations and propose solutions for space and occupancy needs.Contribute to the implementation of space planning tools (CAFM) that can be utilized across all areas of the organization.Manage, update, and be responsible for relevant CAFM systems. Recommend, educate on, and enforce space policies/standards, procedures, and protocols. Align all planning to corporate guidelines, and procedures. Track, monitor, and oversee all related moves and space & occupancy planning.Report current supply and capacity and forecast to occupancy changes. Manage all furniture related projects or repairs & space modifications. Partner with Architectural vendor and project management as required.Work with departments on space needs.Maintain evacuation plans and signage. Bachelor’s degree in architectural, facility management, or related field.A minimum of 2-3 years of experience within similar services, corporate interiors and /or workplace operations. Proficiency in CAD and office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management skillsHigh degree of flexibility and the willingness to collaborate, problem solve, and multi-task independently.
