The Red Lion Team is seeking a Facilities Specialist II on First (1st) Shift.

Summary:

Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities | Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs | Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.

Major Position Responsibilities

Essential Duties: 

Responsible for ensuring that buildings, equipment, and grounds are maintained and functioning properly.On a day-to-day basis, oversees basic maintenance to ensure property is in good condition.Troubleshoots and performs repairs or may coordinate maintenance with outside contractors.Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems.Maintains appropriate records of physical plant equipment performance and maintenance.Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.Interacts with tenant to fulfill lease requirements and respond to service requests.May also have responsibility for Real Estate including:Supports the planning and implementation of real estate projects for an organization.Supports project needs for consultants, field staff and government officials during planning and construction.Act as liaison between all entities to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Manages the entitlement process and processes all architectural and engineering plans with corresponding agencies.Supports the due diligence land purchase process.Tracks and facilitates entitlement strategies, finance budgets, site improvement, permits and architectural planning documentation.Reconciles community budgets and reports budget adjustments on a monthly basis.Audits and approves the payment of fees for communities and reconciles community budgets. Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's DegreeEquivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/or Experience2-4 years' experience relevent to the positions functional area

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Facility maintenance and coordination. Preventative maintenanceProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree in Facilities, Maintenance or related field. 

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.May need to stand for long periods of time.Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.

Travel:
