Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.   

License/Certification Requirement: Applicants must be licensed or Certified by a national or state certification program at the Journeyman level.

 

 

What you’ll do:

The Facilities Team Lead supervises the facility maintenance team members, coordinates work schedules, ensures timely completion of tasks, and maintains communications with the Supported Customer and the Program Manager. Responsible for all administrative, technical and operational aspects of the program, including tracking and managing the submittals of contract deliverables related to scope/schedule/budget. Creates and up-dates project cost estimates/budgets, spreadsheets, and trackers.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the overall administration, organization, and implementation of the project Direct oversight of all Facilities Team Members; provides daily taskings and monitors performance Serves as the primary point of contact with the Supported Customer for all Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and for afterhours emergency support Manages recurring/preventive maintenance work program and provides technical assistance as needed Routinely leads mechanical and electrical system maintenance and repairs Responsible for conducting/overseeing, preparing and submitting O&M and NSF project site surveys with accurate Scopes of Work and associated initial cost estimates for materials and labor Responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing all phases of facility, electrical, and mechanical Net Square Feet (NSF) infrastructure project work from project initiation to project closeout Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditures, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation Manages priorities and work plans, and monitors work status Manages and ensures a continuous workflow Monitors tasks to ensure they meet contractual/ project requirements Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure contractual; cost; and schedule objectives are met Operates computer and communications equipment to support work force management activities Manages preparation and maintenance of O&M and NSF project records and reports Performs quantitative study of management data to assess cost and reimbursement, work performance, progress, trends, standards, and policies Performs quality control checks for Preventative Maintenance task

Candidate Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in the following areas: Management experience in US Government construction services Experience with ICD 705 construction standards Applicants must have consecutive years of supervisory experience over one or more of the following trades: Electrician HVAC Plumbing Carpentry Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.    Ability to obtain a German work permit to live and work in Germany Ability to obtain a German class B driver's license for passenger vehicle (car/van/small truck/small trailer)
