PRIMARY DUTIES:
+ Monitor/operate equipment in order to maintain and/or improve the proper, safe, and efficient functionality of facilities assets.
+ Monitor and operate the automated facility energy management system. Respond to alarms and other urgent facility situations. Complete all required documentation regarding alarm response.
+ Perform preventative, corrective, predictive and breakdown maintenance on equipment and facility as assigned.
+ Troubleshoot with guidance, mechanical and electrical problems. Under guidance will install, repair and maintain facility systems.
+ Use problem-solving tools to identify root cause for repetitive breakdowns or other losses. Addresses key issues and communicates with peers.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
+ High school diploma with one year of relevant maintenance experience; or Associates Degree in technical / skilled trade is preferred.
+ Basic mechanical, plumbing, electrical and carpentry knowledge are also required, including ability to read blueprints.
+ This position makes decisions based on clearly defined guidelines.
+ Must use problem solving to evaluate issues with buildings and equipment and suggest / execute solutions to problems.
