Facilities Tech II - 1st Shift
Hiring a Facilities Technician in Dallas! The Facilities Technician must be a hands-on individual familiar with the facilities maintenance, 3 phase power, HVAC systems, chiller systems, compressors, installation of new equipment and power requirements for the equipment. 1st shift hours $25 hr. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES + General upkeep to the facilities to include drywall repair, carpentry, and painting + Prepare plant for freezing weather to include making sure walk areas are deiced and chillers systems are prepped for cold weather + Air compressor and dryers’ daily inspections and filter changes + Responsible for boneyard 5s, general grounds keeping, plumbing repairs, concrete repairs and ballads installations + Boiler maintenance and PM’s to include blow downs and water samples + Assist in equipment moves and installation + Assist in running conduit, black pipe, and chiller lines + Assist plant electrician in tasks + Improve and sustain 5s program + Support Lean & Kaizen initiatives and drive continuous improvement + Serve as technical interface to product engineering, test engineering, quality on product and process issues + Make cross-training suggestions to make the department more effective and flexible + Ensure effective associate relations through efficient communication skills and promote a “TEAM” environment + Must have good motivational and leadership skills REQUIREMENTS HS Diploma or GED Equivalent, Technical School Preferred Work Experience Required: 3 years related experience in facilities and/or maintenance with strong knowledge of HVAC systems Licensed electrician preferred **About ManpowerGroup, Parent Company of:** **Manpower, Experis, Talent Solutions, and Jefferson Wells** _ManpowerGroup® (NYSE: MAN), the leading global workforce solutions company, helps organizations transform in a fast-changing world of work by sourcing, assessing, developing, and managing the talent that enables them to win.
