Hiring a Facilities Technician in Dallas!

The Facilities Technician must be a hands-on individual familiar with the facilities maintenance, 3 phase power, HVAC systems, chiller systems, compressors, installation of new equipment and power requirements for the equipment.

1st shift hours
$25 hr.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

General upkeep to the facilities to include drywall repair, carpentry, and painting Prepare plant for freezing weather to include making sure walk areas are deiced and chillers systems are prepped for cold weather Air compressor and dryers’ daily inspections and filter changes Responsible for boneyard 5s, general grounds keeping, plumbing repairs, concrete repairs and ballads installations Boiler maintenance and PM’s to include blow downs and water samples Assist in equipment moves and installation Assist in running conduit, black pipe, and chiller lines Assist plant electrician in tasks Improve and sustain 5s program Support Lean & Kaizen initiatives and drive continuous improvement Serve as technical interface to product engineering, test engineering, quality on product and process issues Make cross-training suggestions to make the department more effective and flexible Ensure effective associate relations through efficient communication skills and promote a “TEAM” environment Must have good motivational and leadership skills

REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent, Technical School Preferred
Work Experience Required:
3 years related experience in facilities and/or maintenance with strong knowledge of HVAC systems
Licensed electrician preferred
