**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoots maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor.
+ Performs preventive building maintenance duties, to include routine plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, carpentry and various other repairs under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
+ Uses hand and power tools.
+ Various general tasks as assigned, to include assembling and moving furniture and office equipment, set up and break down of tables and chairs
**Qualifications**
+ Technical experience with construction, electrical, HVAC, and Mechanical Systems
+ A minimum of 3+ years of experience in maintenance, construction, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing including appliance repair.
+ Familiar with application of codes, laws and regulations pertaining to public buildings and fire including ADA
+ The ability to successfully handle multiple priorities
+ Ability to work under minimum supervision with a high degree of organizational and technical competence.
+ Reliable personal transportation
+ Ability to be on call to respond to emergency maintenance situations
+ Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
**Physical Demands:**
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to climb unusual heights on ladders; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
