**Job Title: Facilities Technician** **Job Description** The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of the building and its subsystems. This role involves performing routine maintenance, emergency repairs, inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This is an ITAR-compliant facility, requiring new hires to provide ITAR-compliant documentation. The role requires candidates to have experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing facility with clean rooms, and hands-on experience with basic maintenance and repair tasks. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on building systems. + Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. + Supervise and escort vendors for complex repairs. + Execute simple building repairs such as painting and sheetrock patching. + Assist janitorial staff with maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the facility, including clean rooms. + Support janitorial tasks as needed to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. **Essential Skills** + Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building automation. + Ability to perform simple building repairs. + Physical capability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. + Familiarity with cleanroom environments and protocols. + Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong reliability and attendance proven through references. + Working knowledge of hand and power tools. + Ability to walk, lift, crouch, and bend continuously throughout the shift. + Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions. + Ability to work independently and complete work orders in a timely manner. + Open to past applicable experience from facilities maintenance (residential or commercial), construction, handyman, or other relatable work history. + Can accommodate Spanish-speaking candidates. **Why Work Here?** Join a large, well-known company in the area.
