Job Title: Facilities Technician

Job Description

This position requires an individual with turnover experience in apartments, including painting, and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues. The Facilities Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various buildings.

ResponsibilitiesRoutine Maintenance: Performing tasks such as painting, electrical installations, plumbing, and HVAC maintenance and repair.Responding to Requests: Addressing maintenance requests from residents promptly and efficiently.Inspections: Regularly inspecting buildings, appliances, and systems for signs of damage or wear.Repairs: Repairing or replacing faulty equipment and systems.Preventive Maintenance: Carrying out preventive measures to avoid potential problems.Grounds Maintenance: Assisting in the cleaning and upkeep of building grounds and common areas.Inventory Management: Maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools, and ordering new supplies when necessary.Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety policies and ensuring all maintenance work complies with relevant regulations.Emergency Services: Performing emergency on-call services on a rotating basis.Essential SkillsTurnover experience in apartments, including painting.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.Ability to patch a wall.Experience in maintenance repair, painting, installation, and preventative/corrective maintenance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment includes flexible shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility to start an hour earlier or later if needed. The position will involve working in various locations in Philadelphia, PA.


Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
