Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician with an Engineering Associate or Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining process equipment, facilities, and support utilities, ensuring they are in optimal condition through regular preventative maintenance (PM) and calibration programs.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain process equipment, facilities, and support utilities.Manage facility, mechanic, and automation needs.Ensure facility and process-related equipment are maintained in good condition by following regular PM and calibration programs.Supervise, perform, and manage various activities related to general upkeep and housekeeping of the facility.Manage waste disposal and coordinate waste disposal activities with outside vendors.Maintain PM and calibration schedules through the Quality Management System (QMS) and coordinate with external vendors.Actively participate in the evaluation of all safety issues related to facility and equipment operations.Conduct daily facility rounds and checks.Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to facility, utility, and process equipment.Maintain appropriate logs and documentation related to facility and utilities.Support the Quality Assurance department with investigation activities related to facility or utilities.Manage all annual external agency walkthroughs/inspections such as fire, boiler, and hazardous materials.Manage, maintain, and attend to remote monitoring of critical temperature/humidity alarm systems.Manage external support contractors/vendors related to facility and utilities.Essential SkillsTroubleshootingData center managementRack and stackExperience with PM and calibration schedules through a Quality Management SystemMaintenance and remote monitoring of critical temperature/humidity alarm systemsProcess equipment maintenanceCalibrationFacilities managementWaste disposal managementQuality management systemHazardous material handlingInspectionUtilities maintenanceAutomationAdditional Skills & QualificationsEngineering Associate or Bachelor’s degree1+ years of experience in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology industryWork Environment
The role involves maintaining and overseeing facilities and equipment within a Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Biotechnology setting. This includes regular preventative maintenance, calibration, waste disposal, and remote monitoring of critical systems. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures, with regular coordination with external vendors and contractors. The work environment is dynamic and requires daily facility rounds and checks to ensure optimal operation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00
Effective the first of the month following your hire date you will be eligible to participate in the
following Inventprise employee benefit programs:
Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA or HSA: Currently Inventprise contributes 80% toward the Medical,
Dental, and Vision coverage for the employee, and enrolled spouse and dependents. Medical
plans are currently provided through Premera Blue Cross.
401(k) program: Inventprise contributes 3% of your total earnings your 401(k) account each pay
period. Employee contributions are at the discretion of the employee.
Stock Awards: An initial stock grant will be submitted for approval at the next scheduled Board
of Directs meeting. The stock option grant will have an exercise price equal to the Company’s
current 409a valuation, and a standard vesting schedule of four years.
Bonus Program: The annual bonus is targeted at 10% of your base salary, contingent on the
achievement of both corporate and personal goals. The annual payout will be prorated based on
the actual time worked during the calendar year.
Paid Time Off: New employees start PTO accruals at the rate of 5.83 hours/semi-monthly pay
period - annualized equivalent of 140 hours/year. PTO may be used for planned vacations,
Illnesses, or other reasons allowed by applicable leave laws. PTO accruals start with the first pay
period and can only be used after PTO is earned.
Holidays: Inventprise observes 7 holidays in a calendar year. These are: New Year's Day,
Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day,
Christmas Day.
