General Purpose of Role:
Responsible for the maintenance, repair and upkeep of our facilities, as well as ensuring they are running smoothly. This will include monitoring heating, ventilation, plumbing and air conditioning systems, carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work and organising and supervising outside contractors.
Main duties:
Responsible for ensuring that everything inside and outside the building runs smoothly. You will be responsible for the following tasks:
Simple installation and maintenance work on sanitary facilitiesCarrying out simple metal and wood repairsInstalling new light fixturesChecking delivered goods and transporting them to the storage areasCarrying out minor drywall construction and painting workInspection and maintenance of outdoor areasProper disposal of recyclable materials, waste and hazardous wasteMaintenance of data in the maintenance softwareSpecific knowledge / skills and expertise:
Completed training in the skilled trades: preferably as an electrician, plumber or painterKnowledge of electrics, heating and plumbing systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems and building technologyExperience in the maintenance, repair and servicing of buildings and systemsCareful handling of tools and machines and safety-conscious working behaviourGood communication skills and a friendly demeanour when dealing with colleagues and contractorsKnowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and TeamsIndependent and autonomous way of working and organisational skillsWillingness to work flexible hours and occasionally be on callClass B driving licenceConversational English and German is requiredJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
