Job Description
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the maintenance and efficient operation of the facility. This role involves preventative maintenance, painting, assembly, cleaning, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of both hand tools and power tools.
ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems.Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks including painting, assembly, and general upkeep.Ensure that all work areas are clean, safe, and organized.Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely to complete assigned tasks.Assist with the installation and assembly of furniture, equipment, and other items as needed.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance tasks.Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure facility needs are met.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsProven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools.Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practices.Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role may require working in various environments including indoors and outdoors. May involve exposure to hazards such as chemicals and electrical components, and requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
