Aerotek is hiring for a Facilities & Building Maintenance Technician!

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr

As a Facilities Technician, you will handle:Various building repairs across the facilityYour tasks will include hanging drywall, repairing and replacing electrical outlets and light fixtures, removing snow (shoveling and salting sidewalks), and stripping and waxing floors as needed. Additionally, you will assist in repairing and maintaining rooftop HVAC units. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with outside suppliers and contractors.Primary Responsibilities:Perform building repairs throughout the facility.Hang drywall.Repair and replace electrical outlets and light fixtures.Remove snow (shovel and salt sidewalks).Strip and wax floors as needed.Help repair and maintain rooftop HVAC units.Communicate effectively with outside suppliers and contractors.Ensure thorough knowledge of building codes and requirements.Why Work Here?This is a contract-to-hire position, with the intent of employing directly, with options for both training and financial growth within the company!Enjoy a clean and climate-controlled work environment. Work Environment:The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, with some flexibility on start and end times (e.g., 8am to 4pm). The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit. You will be following FDA regulations for work.Availability to be on call 7 days per week/24 hours per day for security and maintenancePay and Benefits
