You’ll drive a company vehicle to various homes across Monroe County, assisting with tasks like light bulb replacements, landscaping, and painting. **Responsibilities of the Facilities Technician** : + Perform general maintenance tasks including fixing light bulbs, filters, and making cosmetic repairs. + Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks. + Yard maintenance and landscaping. + Home repairs including painting and appliance installations. + Maintain a high standard of work to improve home accessibility and enrich quality of life for individuals with disabilities. + Occasional independent work on special projects, but always have support when needed. **Requirements of the Facilities Technician** : + **Valid Driver’s License** (Required – You will be driving a company vehicle to various homes) + High School diploma or GED required. + Physical ability to lift and perform maintenance tasks. + Strong mechanical skills, including basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge. + Experience in painting, home repairs, and lawn maintenance. + Reliable transportation to and from work. + Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
