**Job Title: Facilities Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team. The position offers a Monday-Thursday schedule with shifts from 5am-3pm or 6am-4pm. The role involves performing light handy work around the facility, including carpentry, fixing doors, painting, drywall repairs, furniture assembly, and event setups. **Responsibilities** + Perform light handy work around the facility. + Conduct carpentry tasks such as fixing doors and drywall repairs. + Carry out painting and general building maintenance. + Assemble furniture and set up for events. + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various systems. + Maintain HVAC systems and conduct preventive maintenance. **Essential Skills** + Experience in preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility maintenance. + Proficiency in general building maintenance, carpentry, and painting. + Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems. + 2 years of building maintenance experience. + Experience with HVAC preventive maintenance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with general maintenance and repair work. + Knowledge of maintenance technician duties. **Why Work Here?** We prioritize internal promotions, with many of our managers having started in technician roles. The work environment involves performing various maintenance tasks around the facility. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Sparks Glencoe, Maryland. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
