We have an opportunity for Facilities Technician I based in Scarborough, Maine. In this role you will, perform routine repairs and maintenance on facilities and facility-related equipment. This role will include, but not be limited to, work involving one or more of the following trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration repair and installation.

Rotating Schedule: 12 Hour Shift: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair building structures, fixtures, and furniture.Renovate facilities, including walls, doors windows, flooring, etc.Assists in packing, moving, and reconfiguring the facility, including office and manufacturing areas.Escort and assist outside vendors in the performance of their contractual obligations.Maintain work records.Maintain inventory of spare parts and materialsRespond to alarm or trouble calls as required.Perform and document routine maintenance actionsPerform and document assigned workorder requestsPerform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED

Prior experience in a Facilities rolePrior Trades experienceTroubleshooting experience

COMPETENCIES:

Ability to prioritize problems and projects effectively ensuring that operation, appearance, and upkeep of the facility are maintained at a high standard.Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.Ability to safely and effectively repair and upgrade facility as needed.Ability to follow directions and project plans.Ability to interact with customers in a polite, courteous manner and provide feedback on progress and or challenges.  Basic computer skills.

The base pay for this position is $19.60 – $39.20 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
