Facilities Technician II

Volt is immediately hiring a Facilities Technician II in Pomona, CA 91767.

\r\n\r\n

As a Facilities Technician II, you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvides maintenance, mechanical and electrical performance for the facilities and utilities equipment at the site including: Vacuum, Compressed Air, Emergency\r\n\tGeneration, Power, City and Well Water, HVAC Equipment.\r\n\tContact suppliers and outside vendors to maintain a complete stock of spare parts for the equipment under the Facilities and Utilities scope.\r\n\tEstablish and execute the right maintenance procedures and frequencies based on equipment manufacture's operation and maintenance manuals, recommendations and equipment reliability history.\r\n\tReport results to the appropriate piers and clients (inside/outside facilities) on a frequent basis.\r\n\tAdminister the computerized system of preventive maintenance (Maximo).\r\n\tCoordinate with outside contractors and vendor’s miscellaneous work related to the scope mentioned above.\r\n\tEnsure compliance with all Company procedures and all applicable regulatory agency requirements.\r\n\tConduct minor maintenance and repair on all areas of the facility; including, but not limited to: flooring, wall patch, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceiling, tile, doors, etc.\r\n\tElectrical installations and wiring\r\n\tPlumbing installations and piping\r\n\tFlooring patches and repairs for sheet vinyl and VCT\r\n\tOn-site escort of contractors and vendors\r\n\tInstallation of minor equipment\r\n\tOrganize and direct small projects and minor build outs not requiring the services of a general contractor\r\n\tAssist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting\r\n\tAssist Facilities Technician I; may be asked to train and/or mentor\r\n\tCarry out various tasks with site security systems such as conducting security badging; maintain security access control, and CCTV systems\r\n\tMinor moving of furniture and conference room setup.\r\n\tResponsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices\r\n\tUnderstands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job. Has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities\r\n\tCarries out duties in compliance with established business policies\r\n\tDemonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of Quality Management System per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies\r\n\tPerform other duties and projects as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School diploma\r\n\t2-4 years’ maintenance experience preferably in medical or health related environment\r\n\tGeneral carpentry, electrical, HVAC, flooring and plumbing skills required.\r\n\tMust have computer skills in Word, and Outlook\r\n\tAble to work with a variety of people on multiple tasks.\r\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule: 1st Shift M-F 8 AM – 4:30 PM

\r\n\r\n

This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $24 - $26.30 per hour.

\r\n\r\n
